Technical Assurance was engaged by Heapy Engineering to provide BECx performance testing services during the renovation of the 700 Ackerman Building. The renovation space is a consolidated call center, and the renovated space will house offices for the Wexner Medical Center Central Scheduling & Customer Service, Health Plan, Corporate Operations, Hospital Compliance and OSU Physicians. The facilities had to remain operational with public access during construction.

Technical Assurance was engaged to provide performance testing. The challenge with the envelope construction of the project was specifically with the window and curtain wall installations, which tied into existing brick, and the brick did not have any weather barrier behind it.
