Event Overview:

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is greatly enhancing the way Facility Managers approach proactive asset management. GIS is 100% location based. When GIS is integrate into the management process, every facility site, building, building system, system component and system defect has its own discoverable coordinate. This location based mapping of data allows you to efficiently manage thousands, or hundreds of thousands, of building systems and deficiencies.

During the Building Performance Symposium, you’ll learn how GIS can help you create, maintain, update and change important facility data, so that it is meaningful and long-lasting.

Having updated data is only one component of facility management. Scientific and objective asset management is driven by independently verifiable industry standards and tests designed to manage infrastructure capital and expense projects to lower the total cost of ownership through life cycle cost savings. The result of a programmatic asset management process moves the needle on your organization’s commitment to the triple bottom line, social (community), environmental and economic.

We hope you join us for the Building Performance Symposium to dive into how to make the move to a more programmatic asset management process – without breaking your budget – and how GIS helps to simplify and better manage this process.

Topics Include:

  • Mapping Technology in the 21st Century
  • Map It, Locate It, Manage It: GIS Integrated Facility Asset Management
  • GIS on the Go: Moving our Business, Facility Assets and Knowledge Forward
