Responsibilities:
- Inspect commercial roof assets with a focus on what is needed to preserve and extend roof life-cycle
- Assess roof condition including active leak issues, overall condition and deterioration
- Make specific recommendations based on roof inspection/assessment
- Ensure that assessment reports, proposals, inspection reports and information required to serve the client are properly prepared and reported in accordance with company administrative policies
- Respond to all technical and guarantee questions accurately and in a timely fashion
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial roofing experience (required)
- Familiarity with all common commercial roofing systems; both low- and steep-slope systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, metal, etc.)
- Ability to estimate system age and remaining service life of all common commercial roofing systems
- Comfortable with roof access, ladders, lifts, and field data collection
- Technically competent with data collection apps and tools
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel extensively
- RRO certification a plus (not required)
- Exterior facade experience is preferred, but not required.
