Technical Assurance, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotions of Jim Solether to President and Kurtis Taylor, PE to Vice President of Technical Assurance, Inc.
Jim Solether, MBA – President
Prior to this promotion, Jim has served as Vice President and General Manager since March 2015, with a keen focus on operational improvement and efficiency as the company experienced explosive growth. As President, he will now oversee all administrative and operational functions of Technical Assurance and lead the company through the next growth phase.
Over Jim’s 35-year career, he’s obtained valuable experience in sales, marketing, management and finance within a variety of industries. Before joining Technical Assurance, he was in the construction industry for a material manufacture with general contracting and facility services capabilities for 11 years where he was involved with strategy development and implementation, process improvement, operations management and service program development.
Kurtis Taylor, PE – Vice President
In a move to further strengthen Technical Assurance’s top leadership, Kurtis Taylor, PE has been promoted to Vice President. Kurtis was initially brought on as Director of Building Envelope Engineering Services and as a member of the Technical Assurance’s Leadership Group. As Vice President, Kurtis will help grow and strengthen Technical Assurance’s professional service offering and lead our organization well into the future.
Kurtis brings with him 15 years of engineering experience and value to our building envelope consulting team. He is a licensed professional structural engineer and will be responsible for leading Technical Assurance’s vertical façade and parking garage service delivery teams. Kurtis has a proven track record in structural engineering, operations, project management and cost estimating. He has worked with clients in an array of critical facility industries, including K-12 and higher education, healthcare, state and local government and commercial properties.
