Sharing Resources within the DOE: A Good Thing

Last month, Senior Writer Frank Munger of Knoxville’s Atomic City Underground blog gave insight into the financial benefits of two Department of Energy organizations working together to reduce water contamination risk at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

To help reduce costs, the Office of Environment Management (EM) partnered with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to roll a critical roof repair on one of EM’s buildings into Technical Assurance’s NNSA Roof Asset Management Program.
