Working as part of a team, the IT Analyst (ITA) is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data used in reporting, analytics and customer communication by overseeing the flow of said data between disparate systems. Qualified candidates may apply to

IT Analyst Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a business Intelligence or data management field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related quantitative field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint)
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, T-SQL)
  • Ability to effectively interact with and communicate with data users, managers and other stakeholders
  • Aptitude for process improvement and total quality management including the transfer of data from system to system
  • Understanding of data quality implications and potential impacts
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic IT network and infrastructure skills
  • Ability to provide desktop and mobile computing support, train users and diagnose problems
  • Familiarity with ESRI’s ArcMap program

IT Analyst Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience on the ESRI GIS platform, specifically editing and versioning principles
  • Experience with CAD and reading architectural drawings
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel for analysis
  • Experience with the commercial roofing industry
  • Knowledge of the GeoCortex mapping platform
  • Experience in customer-facing roles

IT Analyst Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Serve as the in-house technical liaison with TA Managed IT Vendor ensuring helpdesk tickets and projects are on track and completed
  • Resolve data quality concerns by identifying, assessing, fixing, documenting and communicating issues in the way the data is collected, stored, processed or used. This may involve interacting with business users or require the ITA to recommend, design, implement and monitor quality procedures
  • Define and maintain data standards, definitions, and models (e.g. data dictionary, organizational data model; this may include role-specific checklists, guidelines, manuals, templates and forms
  • Act as a back-up resource for client reports creation and generate customer lists to support sales and marketing efforts
